Our friends Chris and Melissa came down with the kiddos for some Easter fun! Thankfully the rain held off and we were able to have a little Easter egg hunt in the backyard. Gunner didn't quite get the concept of it all and instead brought every egg that he picked up to baby Ella. I think he just wanted her to be a part of the fun too. The kids decided that they wanted a turn to hide the eggs so Melissa and I got to egg hunt too. Honestly, I think they were more creative at hiding eggs than we were. :)
We came back inside for some egg dying. Melissa taught us a cool trick with a white crayon and Addison made our eggs pretty by adding glitter.
We ended up cooking a big dinner and they stayed the night. It was baby Ella's first sleepover away from home. Here is a picture of Addison with Ella in her baby doll cradle. And no, we didn't let Ella sleep there, we just thought it was cute.
Did I mention that Addison is quite obsessed with baby Ella. She wants to hold her, feed her, etc. So sweet!
