Today at Ms. Stacey's house the kids made these adorable turkeys. They used the feathers to display all the things that they are thankful for. Addison is thankful for a lot of people in her life.
Gunner's turkey really cracked me up.... toast and pepsi.
And I am thankful for being done with this house. Did I mention that we painted every single inch with a paintbrush?! With the money we saved, I would do it again. The only expense was the paint and painting supplies. Oh, and I LOVE the color. Now to pick out a color for the doors....
I never knew how much outdoor lighting was, boy was I surprised. I really wanted to go with something stainless and very coastal but it just wasn't in the budget. We tried buying one of the cheapest lights and painting it but it didn't make the cut. It looked.... cheap. I guess you get what you pay for. After returning to the home improvement store for round two I spotted these. They aren't a true black and I love the cracked glass look. Price range they fell in the middle so we decided to give them a try. Jeremy installed these two and I am in love. Hopefully we will get the others installed soon.
