Okay, so a picture really is worth a thousand words... I am so glad that someone on the boat was able to capture this moment. Check out the fish bill sticking up right behind the fish box. Jeremy was pretty close to the fish when he fell overboard. I thought there would be some great story to go along with this picture but unfortunately it was pretty simple, Jeremy said that he went to grab the leader and never stopped. He did say that as soon as he hit the water he started swimming though since the boat was backing down on the fish and the fish was only a few feet away. Still pretty funny though, after I found out he was okay that is. Apparently the guys at the tournament thought it would be funny to provide Jeremy with a life jacket, floaties, a giant blow-up whale, goggles, etc. for the next day of fishing. Jeremy being Jeremy sported his new gear at the banquet that night. Wish I couldv'e been there to see it...
While daddy was away having fun we went to Bertie for the weekend to have a little fun ourselves. Here are a couple of pics before church. The duck face is classic.
