Here's what we have accomlished so far:
Most of the painting is done (we went with the lightest yellow for the walls). We still have to paint the stairwell and the trim white (one day). Oh, and the doors. I hate the ugly blue carpet but we are stuck with it for now. The daybeds (from Ikea) pull out into a king size bed and have two very large storage drawers that are perfect for storing toys. We purchsed an expedit shelving unit for our media center/toy storage. I purchased the pillows (27"x27") from Belk.com on black Friday. They were regularly $20.00 and were on sale for $6.99. I am planning to cover them myself using this easy no sew pillow cover tutorial. The tv is mounted and working after a visit from Dish. It's a little small for this room so we plan to upgrade when possible. Jeremy has plans to make the storage area under the stairs a play house for Addison. We need to make an area on the wall for the kids artwork and we need book shelves. Overall I am thrilled with what has been done. And the kids love their new space!
