Letting Go

Addison spent this weekend in Bertie with her "Mi-mi" because Jeremy and I both had to work. I am so grateful that my mother is able to help us out with baby-sitting on the weekends. She has been a life saver. This is the second weekend that Addison has been there instead of mom coming here. The first weekend was hard, this one was a little easier. I guess it's all about letting go. I feel so lost when she is not here, and of course I miss her terribly. I know this is something that every mother must do though. With baby number two on the way I'm sure I will quickly learn to cherish the quiet time rather than dread it. Speaking of baby number two, we will know the sex in a couple of weeks (yah). My ultrasound is March 31st. All the gender predictors (chinese gender chart, ring on a string, etc.) say it's a boy. We'll see...

We are still in the process of buying the house (yeah, I know, it's taking forever). Hopefully we will have a definate closing date soon. I'm just glad that things are continuing to move forward.

Aunt Jaelyn and Uncle Brandon came to visit for a few days this past week. We really enjoyed having them and hope they come back again soon. Addison especially enjoyed them. They of course spoiled her rotten by bringing her one of those mini coupe cars. (Thank you both). She loves it and has driven miles already between the living room and kitchen.
